Repetition and Pattern
Look for natural and man made examples of pattern and rhythm in your world. Look at examples at this site: http://digital-photography-school.com/33-inspirational-images-that-feature-patterns-and-repetition Assignment: Take at least 10 photos that have repetition.Choose one man made example and one natural example from your collection of photos. Think about how pattern or repetition effects your life. Example: Is there repetition in the things you do every day? Look for rhythm and repetition in music, architecture, clothing or jewelry. Does pattern chain you down to habits or does it create structure and security? Can pattern express freedom or personality? Write: why you took that photo. How and why does man try to mimic nature?
Teams 1,2,3, read section about rhythm.
