WACOM WEDNESDAY: Gives you an opportunity to develop your digital arts and drawing skills.You will have every Wednesday to work on digital drawing projects.
This is the first project designed to help you get comfortable with the wacom tablet. It will not be accepted or given credit unless it is created with the tablet. Relax and enjoy this practice drawing. It is meant to open the creative side of your brain and let it play. Draw lines that depict a river flowing. Use thin and thick lines that wind around obstacles on the land. |

Describe the object that has each of these textures.
Why does this object have this texture? Is there a purpose?
Use your WACOM tablet draw one rough texture and one bumpy texture.
You can work from a photo reference you find on the internet or from a real object that you see.

Wacom art: stylized character for underwater world
1)Find a photo of some animal you would like to include in your underwater scene.
2)Open the photo in Photoshop. Place the image on a 8.5 x 11 paper.
3)Draw over the top of the photo to make it a cartoon character or to make it fantasy style. If you are not sure what this looks like, type in stylized art into a google image search. This finished image is due Friday. This could include trees, rocks, houses, animals.....

Collect images from the internet of inspirational devices or objects. Start with images of kitchen appliances, power tools, hair dryers, bikes and skateboards, vehicles. Once you have found some shapes and design ideas you like...... combine them. |
